This virtual workshop aimed to prepare Pakistan’s Distribution Companies (DISCOs) for the impact of the National EV Policy, which targets electrifying a significant portion of the vehicle market by 2030. The workshop covered global EV market trends, the direction of Pakistan’s EV market, support for private-sector EV charging station installations, turning EVs into assets for the grid, and future research on EV compatibility with Pakistan’s power systems.

Pakistan EV Charging Station Business Plans Workshop

This workshop addressed the business planning needs for EV charging stations (EVCS) in Pakistan, aligned with the National EV Policy's goals. The workshop included updates on Pakistan’s EV policy progress, an overview of various EVCS business models, discussion of models being pursued in Pakistan, and a detailed exploration of business plan parameters through a financial model.

Building Blocks of Electric Vehicle Deployment in Bangladesh: Day 1

The USAID-NREL Partnership’s Reinforcing Advanced Energy Systems in Bangladesh program kicked off EV support through a 2-day workshop on the building blocks of EV deployment.
